ace0927
Snow really giving some resistance near the I-287 corridor. We could be in this for a few hours yet. ict1523
I don't see how schools will be open tomorrow given the conditions. Unless a plowing miracle occurs over the next few hours and sidewalks magically clear themselves.

earthlight
Earthlight, how much new snow fell after this morning?? So hard to tell man. I'd venture to guess somewhere over a foot. Measured in four spots...average was 16.4". So if you average out the ~5" that fell earlier..and the compacting that occurred and the heavy, heavy sleet for an hour or more...I would say probably over a foot, maybe a bit more. swataz
Getting MAULED right now. Good lord, the snow is just POURING down! They JUST plowed 15 minutes ago and it is already covered. Kaner587
I am up to 8" new tonight....and i didnt go to snow for atleast 45 mins after NYC well they just recorded 0.38 in an hr which I tend to think is literally unbelievable but 0.38 + 0.61 they already received (and obv on top of the 4 from earlier) = minimum 12-13 in central park right now maybe as much as

CooL
If i get 20" total, which i think i have a legit shot...that would put me at 65-68" on the season.. Im basically losing count with all these storms.

A-L-E-X
No, EWR has 15" on the ground. They had 4" on the ground when this event began. My favorite part of that statement is "snowfall increasing rapidly."
