Absolutely love the first paragraph of this story.

Schools closed, governments sent workers home early and planes were grounded Wednesday in an all-too-familiar routine along the East Coast as another snowstorm swept over a region already beaten down by a winter not even half over.

Getting crushed in NE Nassau - over 4 inches in the last 1.5 hours

same here in NW suffolk...wild out there right now and the area south of LI has really filled in nicely. i love where we are for this one. i expect the band to consolidate and shift east soon and linger over LI for a while.

Jason you can see the precip settling in a almost slowing down a bit in it's eastward progression. Feeling REAL good for us :)
