Yea, I expected as much out of the Euro and Canadian tonight.. I don't buy them routing out the cold in PA with rain for everyone.
PottercountyWXobserver
where are you guys seeing these -20°F on accuweather? If so I'm so rooting for more records to fall! The clipper looks really juicey tonight, hope to see at least 2-3" from it. I'm in a super good mood, poker night went real well tonight!

Voyager
So what's going on out in C PA? This thread is strangely quiet considering there is a clipper passing through and radar returns appear quite impressive.

kerplunk
Agreed things are unusually quiet. Having a very nice band of heavy snow here now that's managed to put down a quick inch so far. Looks to be almost done, but still snowing pretty good. These bands have normally fallen apart just before reaching UNV this year, so was happy to see this not only hold together, but actually strengthen as it approached. We got 1 1/4 so far and looking at radar looks like at least another inch is on the way. Not bad Although man, does the new NAM look u-g-l-y. That strong high in northern New England is going to make any changeover to plain rain very difficult on Tuesday. GFS ensembles show a bit of everything here in State College -- There are members that have mostly snow, sleet, freezing rain and plain rain. http://eyewall.met.psu.edu/mrefplumes/PlumeDisplay.html This storm could be a mess. CarlislePaWxJr
Snow is down in the valley looking like a good band is about to pass through so far it's just sticking to cars and sidewalks and other snow...don't think its gonna stick to the roads at this point. 2001kx
we have a nice snowpack here (especially for not having any big storms) i want to add to it not deplete it next week.
canderson
We've had some good moderate snow here in Harrisburg for a while. Probably have half-inch? Maybe we can top everything off with 1" total with the clipper. When we can pull 1" from a clipper, I consider that a success!

pawatch
The clipper made it over the mountains. Snowing moderate here. 1/2 mile visibility. Just come home and the passing lane on 220 is snow covered. And the streets in town are snow covered also. Hehehe trying to distant myself from midweek storm. I don't want to jinx it. PottercountyWXobserver
well this clipper is a dud here, but places just south of route 6 is getting snow pretty good, we are just seeing flurries, and man I'm really starting to get scared on next weeks event, I hope I can stay out of mixing issues and you guys stay out of ice
