I think we're starting to establish a western boundary on the whole thing. The area highlighted in the MD, which was said to be much later from 02z to 09z, seems to be right on target.

Eastern CT has to be a mix...SN here looking to be SN+ real soon. The MD also said it would be all snow at 02z, so we'll see.

if you haven't taken a peek at the radar from PHilly over to NYC take a moment and do so now.

those are some of the highest snow fall rates i have ever seen on radar......there will be reports of a foot + in 3 hours time in NYC area. ez

but don't get too jealous.....i found this tidbit .....chuck em high

ELSEWHERE EXACT 8-14

INCHES OF SNOW...WITH HIGHEST AMOUNTS ALONG/EAST OF A NYC-HVN-ORH

LINE WITH ACCUMULATIONS TEMPERED SOMEWHAT OVER THE

SOUTH SHORE/TWIN FORKS OF LONG ISLAND WHERE THE MIX WILL HOLD ON

LONGER. SNOW FALL RATES OF 2-3" AN HOUR ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND

EAST OF THE NYC-HVN-ORH LINE...WITH 1-2" AN HOUR RATES POSSIBLE

FURTHER WEST. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY

UNDERNEATH THE CORE OF THE BAND.

not that is the Ny AFD so tell me that is hvn,ct and orh, ma right
