DavisStraight
Light snow here with some pingers mixed in, the intensity started to pick up in the last 15 minutes or so.

Clinch Leatherwood
yeah close to getting a bit discouraged here. The HRRR was just as good as the RUC earlier. It's been going the wrong way kind of fast for some tonight. This is the latest.
weatherwiz
Did Kevin actually go to bed for the night or did he say he was just getting a couple hours? He might be about to go through a 12/9/05 type period over the next 3-4 hours. Bad time for sleeping if you are a snow weenie. He said he set his alarm for 2 or 3. Bostonseminole
Not loving the multi-hour trend on the HRRR. Kicker starting to win the battle in the west. This is a 1 hour change...ugh. is snowing
weathafella
Just back from an hour out. Initially light snow....little snizzle needles. As I reached Coolidge Corner on the way home, dendrites. Now snow increasing rapdiy...almost moderate snow...26.3.
sankaty
Really curious to see what happens when that freight train headed toward us from the south gets here. Many times, those heavy echos translate less extreme when they get inland, but it sure looks impressive. Of course, it could be sleet . . . Clinch Leatherwood
Sorry Ryan site crapped out. HRRR backing down run to run. Usually the RUC follows an hour later. RGEM isn't as extreme, jackpot SE MA though for QPF. Note right around POU on radar a wall is forming and it's goign to make steady progress east. CT Rain
It might be over by then for him, lol. My wx watcher in Tolland reported snow with some PL and ZR mixed in lol

CT Rain
Interesting cweat. The echoes are going to start falling apart west of POU soon so that's not a huge surprise. Just hoping we can crank some good snows here for a couple hours before the back edge swings through.
HIPPYVALLEY
MPMike is getting absolutely smoked 3/hr bright banding boom. I'm 10 mi. E of Mike and about 600' lower and every time the wind gusts I go from marginal snow growth to SN beautiful stacking dendrites and then back again. DeVries
me too. Never have had the pleasure of witnessing it before Saw/heard it twice in the middle of the night down in The Valley during the Cantore storm and heard it another time during a small afternoon event back in 93 or 94. The blue sky effect at night is very cool -- like it's high noon on a sunny day for a second -- but overall it's kind of overrated if you ask me. Deathofthebambino
Ray, I'm saying we get 9.2 and you get over the 60 inch mark for the year. Completely uninformed and uneducated opinion, but I think this thing comes north enough to get us pretty good. Wind has started to pick up out there.
