xram
Ouch. This storm could be painful up here. It would be nice to be on the southern fringe for a change. Ironically it's actually just above freezing here now despite being on northern edge. When I drove in to JFK this morning it was 20 degrees colder here than in Queens. Now the temperature is the same. Might take the train into the City tonight. It should be pretty down there. About 5 minutes after i posted...snow is now moderate with about a 1/4" on the ground. earthlight
Nice agreement on measuring...I had 4.25" here in Dobbs. Seems to be near 3-4" here as well. Forky said he's around 4" at the moment. Newark came in with 2.6" at 1030am so that lines up pretty well.

danstorm
Judging by the radar, it doesnt look like there will be a true lull between the tow, rather a period of light snow/flurries before part 2 starts It just wants to snow over us, plain and simple. Precip filling in over SE Pa. and N NJ and getting tugged North, then East. SN- here, vis. on the order of 1 1/4 ... I love my Montpelier retreat! jm1220
State College is getting rocked right now when almost every model had them getting very little. That's a great sign for SE NJ, N CT and NW NJ that are fringed right now on most modelling.
Stormlover74
Maybe but that part could die out as the coastal takes shape dry slotting some places in between. I still think E PA and NW NJ do quite well in the end. State College is getting rocked right now when almost every model had them getting very little.
