I missed your post..we changed over already....pressure changes are noted here....slightly closed doors are opening and closing....this is going to be a classic

Thats the wind lol-- same here, my house is shaking.

I have another analog for you guys-- besides xmas 2002 and dec 2003, how about a less intense version of March 1914?

Why are you looking at models? Lol storm is here! Besides how much did the nam show for this mornings snow? Lol

Agreed. Based on radar whos ever snowing is under 1 inch (or more) an hour rates the next 5 hours. Do the math 5 + more inches.

March 1914 had a sfc low that bombed to 952 mb at the Benchmark....

This storm is far less intense...

Less pinging, more and more flakes...winds strong ..Give me 4 Guaranteed inches and I won't complain.

8 inches and I'll take a lakes cutter

12 inches, no more snow for the reast of the season.

Storm stalls and 18 inches I'll take less than 4 inches for winther 2011-12

lol you say that NOW

Anyway, we're still in the battlezone and its going back and forth between sleet and snow. The true snow line is just NW of Jamaica Bay and closing in on JFK. This reminds me of last Feb 26 a bit, except back then it was snow vs rain. At 1 PM it finally pushed through.

Mostly a driving sleet here in Long Beach, some raindrops mixed in from time to tome. Anxiously awaiting the arrival of heavy snow. If it's at your location it can't be far for us.
