We had a mini vacation planned for this week but then the schools had to add two days and the kids are supposed to be in school Tues/Wed. If this second wave comes in overnight Monday into Tuesday morning they'll probably end up with at least a delay. Doesn't it figure I lost my deposit on the vaca and now may end up not being able to go to work and get stuck home with the kids on Tuesday because the wife has to go to work.

2.5 inches here... I kinda got shafted with the best snows sliding NW-->SE to the south of me. Pretty this morning out there though...

Hey Radders,

There are two seprate model camps for the end of the week and they appear to be diverging, if you have any info on the Euro later it would be appreaciated.

In other news, I had some diamond dust this morning, anyone else have this too? It's been a while since I witnessed it but it always pretty neat when it happens.

No, didn't see it.

It caught me off guard when I felt something hitting my bald head with nothing but bright blue skies overhead. I then looked towards the sun and I could see all of the ice crystals, the temp was around 3 above at the time. I've never had any luck getting a good photo of it though when it happens.

I'm with you though, enough of winter, I'm ready for bright sunshine and 60's, perfect weather for having some good Irish brews out in the yard. :P

11" snow pack in my yard this morning with what looks like 1"+ of rain heding this way :axe:

Looks like they are talking about a little ice and snow tonight also. I hope the warm front pushes through earlier and we warm up. Need a good rain to wash some of the streets. I'm also concerned about the wind potential tomorrow...maybe generator time again.

flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding

develop.

Have to keep an eye on the smaller rivers for ice jamming. With the ground frozen from the last couple of nights in the single digits there will be runoff.
