jdt
for the RUC are those in mm? That would be like 1.35 to 1.55 liquid imby... That is sim radar those are dbz not accumulations
Maximum lawman
That is sim radar those are dbz not accumulations This is important -they were salivating over sim radars in the NYC thread, and the numerical data showed only 5.5 for LGA :shrug

Maximum lawman
But that's not the big story here. 35 dBz band of snow is amazing regardless of how long it lasts. I won't disagree with that. Just saying don't guess at totals from the sim radar - just look at what the RUC does to NYC in the accumulated QPF. Those in the LV shouldn't look at the RUC at all... noctilucent
Warrington, PA 14:30 32.7 degrees F, Dewpoint 28,1 Winds still E to ESE, but are picking up with a couple 15 mph gusts while I was outside. Light mixed precipitation. Part 1 total : 6.2" I went out to remove the white cement and even the snow-thrower had trouble with it. While outside I noticed some Easterly gusts of wind, and a variation of precipitation types. It was 34.7 when I went outside, and temp has dropped 2 degrees in the past 90 minutes. There was some light rain and sleet when I first started; this turned to light snow and sleet and keeps switching back and forth.
