usjusticeman
Had a nice 5 inches falling moderately heavy to 11 AM here in Manayunk, west of Center City. Have had only slight rain, sleet and snow combination since. Looking forward to the ULL kicking in and the column cooling quickly.

greg ralls
That EURO map for total QPF I saw a few pages back can't be right unless we get no snow tonight at all since we're already very close to .5 total already.
Maximum lawman
So...how are we looking for the second part of this storm...About 3 inches in my part of Berks county. Evrything looks like a go, models, pressure falls, radar trends. In a typical set up, the ULL would be fading as it got near the mountains and all the weenies would be committing suicide waiting for the coastal SLP. Instead we've got the ULL spawning squall lines. Hard to find anything to worry about, which has me worried.

Euro QPF under 24 hours is worthless.
Wx4Me
Steady rain here in Bala Cynwyd (I'm at work)... I look forward to the change back to snow... We are closing the offices by 3pm. Radar looks amazing! Is there a timing for the change over back to snow for the Philly area? Looking forward to tonight! Cheers!

Lady Di
Raining ever so slightly in West Chester. What a morning. This oil company employee is leaving for home in about 1\2 hr. Roads seemed to have improved. Service calls were kept to emergency calls only basis after I cancelled all the non emergency calls and installations. Most service techs are standing by now, delivery trucks are slowing rolling back in here. Stay safe folks!
weathernut85
Radar looks like it wants to fill in over central PA and unite these two separate areas of precip into one. This is such an amazing storm to watch, tonight should be epic!
Boreal
We picked up a dusting from this system over here in southern IL - parts of west KY received six to seven inches. Very narrow area. Looks nice this afternoon as I look off to the east on radar. I uploaded some views from GREarth of your storm Playing around with some of its capabilities. Thought some of you might like to see what it can do. I also repositioned my GREarth online radar to cover your area for this afternoon with its precipitation typing algorithm http://weatherobserv...ar_grearth2.htm Nice. Thanks for adding to the mix here.

Sunny and Warm
this is really a nowcast event Looks like the northern progression on the western low has stopped around I80 in C-PA. It will be interesting to see where that convection pinwheels through later tonight. That likely ends up being where the CCB sets up shop. Incredible dynamics at play here.
