Feel sorry for Glenn, that was a terrible segue. But he discussed it well.

Has I-95 in 8-12" bullseye, 6-10" around. Hinted at more than 8-12

It's still unthinkable to me that all that is going to fall in less then 12 hours. The rates we see tonight, may be something we haven't seen in a long time.

Woodbury NJ....just SSE of PHL

Wind increasing...steady but light rain

34 and light rain here, wind increasing also. Jon, later on tonight, can you keep me updated on the roads and such out there? I have to pick up the papers for my route around 4am, on Broad St., right in town. But if it's too bad, I'm gonna hold off till this thing quits. I'm not gonna wreck my truck over some newspapers, lol.

Hey guys...i'm new to the boards. I used to live in the Quakertown area in Bucks County and moved out west to Seattle. I must say, even though I have awesome mountains nearby that can get dumped on in the winter, I do miss the winters in the NorthEast. Seattle has had 1 good event so far this winter back in November and this week is sunny and in the 50's. Jealousy doesn't begin to describe how I feel.

You guys have had quite a few blockbuster winters since I left 5 years ago and this one is turning out to be another one. I was curious as to how much snow is on the ground in the Philadelphia area as of today? I know you are expecting another wallop tonight with a potential foot of new snow. Please keep posting pics for those of us who are snow deprived to drool over.

Thanks!

I know exactly how you feel... Elko gets more snow overall than Seattle (and more than back home) but we just don't get these kind of big dynamic juicy storms...

Anyway, for snow depth:
