Zeus
Nah.....I just went to the GYM and had some great convo with other patrons and a very enjoyable workout.....bad mood vanquished. Ray. Welcome back. Both 18z runs (NAM and GFS) bring us back into the fold in a big way. And the radar looks promising upstream. We may not yet be beat. jhj
Definitely appears for the time being the m/l is going straight east along the NC border. http://www.rap.ucar....e=-1&duration=6 painfull
snowman21
I think I missed this before, good lord...that much MORE from OKX!? No 9-13 total - includes today's. Note the forecast for southern Fairfield says 4-8 additional inches tonight.

TalcottWx
Wonderful trend. About to leave Bridgton and make the three hour trek south. Loaded up on dunkins good to go. Btw about a quarter inch of pixie dust fell from 9 till now. Constant light snow with bizarre low voa of about a mile.
40/70 Benchmark
Ray. Welcome back. Both 18z runs (NAM and GFS) bring us back into the fold in a big way. And the radar looks promising upstream. We may not yet be beat. Yea, Will text me as I was leaving the GYM....thx, Brett. Looks like the high end of my 3-8" and the low end of my first 8-16" first guess may be in order. Maybe very similat to the 8.5" of flugg QI got with the clipper, Fruday.
sankaty
Nice trajectory on the upstream radar. Everything looks encouraging for tonight around here, but still a little spooked by the specter of 2/10/10.
DavisStraight
harvey just upped Boston on southeast to providence and parts of CT for 8-12" This morning I would have been happy with 4-5 in tonight after seeing the GFS I think I can double that
Clinch Leatherwood
GFS looks pretty good. Looks good, it's drawing the serious dynamics/qpf in about the same spot as the RGEM. I think the NAM got too far NW with the edge probably losing focus on how intense the banding will be. Most signs point to the best band being somewhere near Bob maybe up NW...but not here, at least the later signs.

Zeus
Nice trajectory on the upstream radar. Everything looks encouraging for tonight around here, but still a little spooked by the specter of 2/10/10. If this bowling-balls its way across SNE, I imagine it could look very... special. dendrite
Pretty clear axes of dilatation in the deformation field on the 18z NAM and GFS valid 6z tonight. Maybe some deform love setting up somewhere from N CT-C MA-SE NH at that time? NAM GFS

Kbosch
No 9-13 total - includes today's. Note the forecast for southern Fairfield says 4-8 additional inches tonight. I dislike the way they do that in the new format. Looking at the radar and what should happen...we may get the 9-13 tonight

powderfreak
Nah.....I just went to the GYM and had some great convo with other patrons and a very enjoyable workout.....bad mood vanquished. That's the way to do it... get some exercise. But still, letting the weather models effect your metal state is always a dangerous thing. Lots of emotions in these threads... you'd think SNE hasn't seen snow since 2008.
40/70 Benchmark
Late night tonight... could be awesome out. It's almost as if the wx tested me and when I finally dealt with adversity like an adult for once, I was awarded.....at least it looks like I was, but as you said....verification.
