Looks like the airport hit 32* between hourly observations this morning. I hit 30.1* this morning.

Chilly!

This is on par for the average date of the last spring freeze for the 1981-2010 period or record. A couple of the latest during the last 10 years were 2008 (4/16) and 2001' (4/19).

I was only 12 years old, but I remember that day vividly.....particularly the media reports of the Petersburg/Colonial Heights tornado.

Anyway, looks like just under an inch officially at RIC with the storms.

Just above an inch out here as we got some rain this morning that RIC did nit receive, I believe.

Where exactly in Hanover was this?

BTW, I just got home....I'm in Colorado. tongue.gif Been talking about it on FB on my phone all day. Finally was able to get to a computer.

Not sure, it's from the NBC website and they did not have a caption. A lot of wall cloud pics coming out of those areas. It's possible that there was more than one tornado out there... I have to go back and look at the radar.

Where in Colorado? :snowman:
