NorthShoreWx
William, my wife was home well before me (around 3 p.m.) and says 2 inches, no more. There could have been some compaction, I guess, but that seems accurate based on what I saw. 1.1" in Smithtown yesterday. Based on yesterdays radar, I can imagine 2" or a bit more up toward Old Field point, but not as much down by 347. The best returns yesterday slid along the north shore of Nassau and western Suffolk to out over the sound once past Sunken Meadow, but may have clipped Old Field. To the SE amounts had to have dropped off.

ZeeTwentyFour
Some how we're still holding on here though I fear a mix is knocking on my door step. And as I type this a sand truck drives by. Of course it seems like Suffolk got a pounding with that 50+ DBZ run.

kwt
Given we are already up on the 1-2 inches generally suggested by this time in quite a few places I think it bodes well for an overall figure between 10-12 inches. Tonight is going to be very interesting from the looks of radar!
