Wheres my crow?

I was so convinced that it was going to be less then 6" NYC... Well looks like they may approach that there before this first batch is done with. NEVER expected to wake up to this morning what i woke up to. Truly amazing what mother nature can do and how as humans we have yet so much to learn.

But like i said last night, if i was wrong id be the first to come out and admit it.

I know there has been a lot of talk about a lull between this batch and the next, however, if you look at an accurate radar representation, that break is all the way back in VA, and it will snow consistently until then with heavy embedded bursts/bands. There is even convection popping in DE/MD, this is riding northeastward, I wouldn't be surprisedpost-705-0-67708900-1296052833.jpg to have 6" (or more) in spots by this afternoon/rush hour.

12/5/03 also appeared to have a lull coming by 4-5pm...the lull did not really arrive til almost 8 or 9 as everything filled in continuously....I think out of EWR, JFK, LGA...someone might report 3 inches in one hour on the 10am report

Hopefully the warm air gets here when we're in the break between parts 1 and 2. Simply an amazing scene out there, and we should have very impressive accums when we're all said and done. The NAM finally stopping being so pathetic with part 2 of the storm, so we're in for some serious rakeage later tonight. Many areas may reach 12" after all.

Well you may still be right about the second part not being 6 inches but if the NAM finally figured it out for later tonight that may bust as well. You gave it a crack, took some heat for it, stood by your ground and you are still here just like the rest of us enjoying the snow. Much respect.

Why do I suspect this early Wednesday surprise is showing us the way to where this evenings best snows will fall? hmmm Not again with the cut off near or over NW NJ. lol Despite that still have a decent winter snow wise just not and epic one.

lol you want warm air? :P I dont think we'll ever mix ..... especially since the mix line was down south past ACY. Same thing happened in 12/2003.

yeah wth happened, it was snowing so hard just a few min ago. We got 2" of new snow and then it just lightened up to light snow/flurries.

makes no sense...the radar indicates nice echoes overhead...but it aint translating to the ground

wife needs me to go shopping at key food and i was hoping to walk in heavy-ish snow....

EDIT- Moderate snow

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if thats exactly what happens with the band backbuilding but we will see!

Its starting to pick up again. The skies had also brightened when the snow had lightened up and theyve gotten darker again also.

BTW why is the site slowing down? :P Where are those T-3 servers? ;)
