Guest stormchaser
Wheres my crow? I was so convinced that it was going to be less then 6" NYC... Well looks like they may approach that there before this first batch is done with. NEVER expected to wake up to this morning what i woke up to. Truly amazing what mother nature can do and how as humans we have yet so much to learn. But like i said last night, if i was wrong id be the first to come out and admit it. Shades
I know there has been a lot of talk about a lull between this batch and the next, however, if you look at an accurate radar representation, that break is all the way back in VA, and it will snow consistently until then with heavy embedded bursts/bands. There is even convection popping in DE/MD, this is riding northeastward, I wouldn't be surprised to have 6" (or more) in spots by this afternoon/rush hour. jm1220
Hopefully the warm air gets here when we're in the break between parts 1 and 2. Simply an amazing scene out there, and we should have very impressive accums when we're all said and done. The NAM finally stopping being so pathetic with part 2 of the storm, so we're in for some serious rakeage later tonight. Many areas may reach 12" after all. Well you may still be right about the second part not being 6 inches but if the NAM finally figured it out for later tonight that may bust as well. You gave it a crack, took some heat for it, stood by your ground and you are still here just like the rest of us enjoying the snow. Much respect.
