dbc
LMAO @ the FOXNEWS Meteorologist "This stuff over the Northeast now is pretty light" Can someone enlighten me on what these folks and others like Linda Church are looking at. I don't pay attention to these people nor do I TWC but there has to be some measure of competence for the benefit of all that do which is the majority of the people in the region. All they have to do is observe a radar screen and see that they are way off base, that there will be no change-over for most people, a ton of snow in southern areas has accumulated more than predicted at this point and that this storm means serious business for the I-95 corridor. lindywx
It really doesn't get much better than this in snow weenie world: nowcasting an unexpected event while the NAM comes in with it's best run yet.

A-L-E-X
I have snow accumulating on the outside part of the window sill with the window open and a huge radiator right underneath it with the wind blowing outward. That's how hard it's snowing right now. Hell Sundog you just simulated the conditions at LGA Just substitute "tarmac" for huge radiator and "jet fuel exhaust" for wind blowing outward..... SnowGoose69
Like the 12/03 event this will cause a disaster rush hour this evening, people probably drove in anticipating it wouldn't snow til later as opposed to taking public transport as they would if they anticipated this.
