FrederickWX
You know it's a sickness when you're a few hours from the start of a MECS, and yet are tracking the little clipper system that modeled to occur a couple of days later.

showmethesnow
Looking at the 500's the 06Z GFS would give a shot at snow for NoVa into MD with the energy diving south of DC for the Friday clipper. Saturday has the energy diving through central to northern PA with the best snow in those areas on north.
showmethesnow
06Z NAM shows that all of VA is in the game with snow for the Friday clipper. The Saturday event is confined to N PA into New York State but it is the NAM @ 66 Hrs out of its prime range.
mitchnick
12Z NAM much more impressed with clipper for tomorrow BWI has .12" qpf http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/nwprod/analysis/namer/nam/12/images/nam_p36_036l.gif

clskinsfan
NWS seems to like my area for an inch of snow with the clipper. It wont matter at this point as we are all covered anyways.

Dr No
I can see a quick 1/2 -1 inch with the clipper right during tomorrows rush, to put the cherry on top of this commuting week. (notice the Omegas just off to the east when the NAM gets to 18Z tomorrow) There might be so much salt on the interstates it might not matter, but primaries that are still in terrible shape might be hurting a bit. Hopefully most everyone calls it a week and works from home.
