wlfpack81
Man what a drive home to Arlington from work. Normally takes 35 minutes, took 1hr 15 minutes, non-interstate roads definitely not the best. Traffic everywhere, ugh.

digrox
Just got back in from a walk here in Arlington. Neighborhood kids are out sledding and making snowmen. We have about 3" on the roads and they're very slick. Two big hills on 4-lane Wilson Blvd. near our house are impassable due to cars spinning their wheels and unable to make it up the hills. Two bright bolts of lightning while out walking too. Beautiful-- and I'm thankful I'm not on the road tonight.
Swiscaster
It is pouring down snow here still. I haven't measured since I wnt out around 440 and measured 3 inches, but my footprints are gone...4+ inches easily I'd say.

winterymix
Reisterstown, Maryland Extremely loud thunder and frequent lightning Visibility about 300 yards Two inches an hour snow All roads are impassable. esullivan
power has been flickering in NW DC (Connecticut and Nebraska) for 45 mins I'm closer to Nebraska and Nevada and have had a couple flickers. Just took the dog for a walk and the branches are very heavy -- big branch down in the alley. also saw a bmw and a miata not making it up the about 2% incline of Nebraska heading towards Nevada. W4CGT
Just went out to measure, getting close to the 4" mark. Looks like a heavy band setting up just west of LSBG, headed this way. Should pick up some more. LCSO and LSBG PD are crazy busy tonight. Rt. 15 N of LSBG to Point of Rocks is jammed up, very difficult to get by according to the deputy. A large tree just split in half and landed not far from me in my backyard while I was shoveling the driveway. That chased me in for a while.
