Ian Posted January 25, 2011 Author Share Posted January 25, 2011 wxtrix pointed out MRB doesnt keep snow data. i guess i should have known that but i figured they did since they are listed as a climate location on lwx. i guess we can just drop that spot or i can verify it off something close but that's a little tricky. Ian Posted January 25, 2011 Author Share Posted January 25, 2011 wvclimo noted that there is a Cocorahs observer that reports regularly, and pretty reliably it seems, from 2.8 ENE of Williamsport which is essentially the downtown Hagerstown area. i think i'll just remove it... 3 locations should be enough. Non-NWS reporting sites have always made me avoid these snow forecast contests NWS climo. page for easy verification with chosen sites (though they can be few and far between) FTW.
