Moneyman
Congrats South Dakota. Nah, I was joking with you, although after someone made the last thread for the thanksgiving storm, the next model run, the storm was in Minnesota. I think they want to wait until it's like 3-4 days out before people make threads.
prinsburg_wx
it'll end up in nw MN and give ND another foot of snow

goknights
Storm also shows up on the GFS in the 7 day range. I see nothing wrong with discussing things in the 7 day range. Afterall the pro mets do.

mnweather
The ecmwf has shown consistency with it and the GFS has had it occasionally as well. Should be another interesting one to track.

csnavywx
I don't remember seeing this map with the additional picture Sad part is I can paste the map for this Thurs next to it and if I blotted out the dates, I might not be able to tell the difference. michsnowfreak
Congrats Seattle and then Seattle again. Seattle seems to be getting quite a few November snowfalls the past decade or so, then little the rest of the winter. Its actually funny, they got just a trace all of last winter, and here it is Nov 22nd and theyve already beat 2009-10!

Hoosier
a week out but 0Z ggem has it tonight hr 168, 180 & 192 Whenever I see folks from MN/WI posting model runs, I figure it probably means it's awful for me. Nonetheless, maybe another drought denter coming down the pike.

Assuming Wed-Thu produces, we could really put a good dent in the departure if next week's MN special actually happens.
trapperman
a week out but 0Z ggem has it tonight hr 168, 180 & 192 Uh-huh. Move it 200 miles north and a hundred miles west and it's spot on. I'm gonna lose it if people keep starting these threads 7 days out. More freezing rain for me.

mnchaser
MPX NEXT WEEK LOOKS TO BE UNSETTLED ONCE AGAIN AS A STORM SYSTEM BEGINS TO ORGANIZE ACROSS THE PLAINS AND MIDWEST. TIMING AND STORM TRACK CONTINUES TO LOOK LIKE THE UPPER MIDWEST COULD GET ANOTHER SNOW STORM. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR FURTHER UPDATES AS WEATHER MODELS BECOME MORE CONSISTENT IN TERMS OF STORM TRACK AND MOISTURE AVAILABILITY. More then likely this tracks through MN and brings North Dakota there 4th or 5th decent snowstorm of the year!
