blizzardlover
There is a very heavy band of precip moving up from Cecil County, MD into New Castle County. Can anyone confirm if that's snow or if its sleet?

RU848789
2" of new snow on the ground in Metuchen - awesome surprise. Local roads are in bad shape (just dropped my son off at school) and even the highways are not in great shape, since the snow is falling faster than it's melting (temps are around freezing). I assume the total snowfall predictions will be simply upped by 3-4" to maybe 8-12" region wide...
JCT777
When I left my house this morning in Spring Mount, PA at about 8 AM, there was close to 3 inches of snow on the ground. Here at my work near Lansdale, there is about 4 inches on the ground as of 9:25 AM. Still moderately snowing.

dryslotted
Just got to my office in CC and the commute in was not great coming in from the Cherry Hill area in SNJ. About 2.5" when I left and it's been mod to hvy since then. Near whiteout going over the BFB which was...interesting to say the least. Amazing to me that its still all snow down to Cape May (though they seem to flux back forth)...

blizzardlover
Snow here picking up steadily in intensity. I'm not far from you in Pike Creek, and it's getting darker here and the snow is indeed intensifying. This is going to be VERY interesting in about 15 minutes assuming it's not sleet. There are 40-50dbZ echoes coming in if the radar isn't jacked up.

Thunder Road
I measured 2.6" on the pavement. My snow board is at home and there are only a few areas that aren't beaten down already. I thought my numbers was too high, but it sounds like 3-4" area-wide. 12/5/02 redux...
