famartin
If that table is next to your house, then that's not correct. Measuring next to any structure is bad. Not sure why my totals are being doubted....I never inflate them and I've been around long enough on the boards to know how to measure on my snowboard (table). But whatever, I'm at 5" now here: Anyone think the mix line makes it back to Central Bucks Co?? RUC claims we should be sleeting by now.

RUNNAWAYICEBERG
Great little pre- main event. BUT - I see no excuse for the way the roads were at 7 AM. Last night we were discussing some of the short term models had 2" in SE PA by 9 AM. I was out on vehicle accident calls and didn't see one salt truck. Roads were a total mess. You could see on radar at 1 AM we were going to get it. Doesn't anyone (highway crews) watch what we do on this forum?????? Looks like about 4" so far here in Worcester, PA. 30 degrees. I am a little surprised to see the next event in Ken, WV. I tought it would be more on the coast down toark VA/NC. believe or not, most towns have used up their snow removal budget already for this winter......sucks but some towns arent treating roads as much as they usually can. tough times ya know. I posted last night on facebook about this morning snow, and told them that the roads most likely wouldn't be cleared/treated. bluehens
Total snow near 4" IMBY in far northern DE just 1 mile south of Delco. It has just been pouring snow for the past 2-3 hrs. Still looks to be all snow out my window here in downtown Wilmington and picking up again. If the rain/snow line can just hold here for another hr we may tack on another inch. I am loving northern DE and SEPA looking like we may be in the sweet spot deform band tonight. I think we cash in. Would love to see the temps drop now though. chubbs
Any reports on whether that band headed towards SE PA is snow or sleet? W/ echoes like that near the transition zone, I would think sleet, but this thing seems full of fun surprises... Started as very small icy lfakes - heavily rimed may be partially melted. Now getting some bigger flakes as well. edit - snowing nicely now
