Snow shield looks impressive for you guys, maybe particularly from Rte 220/I-99 east up to I-80. There could be some surprise several inch amounts close to I-99 and more the further east you go. Ratios look like they'll help also.

Looks better than I was expecting at this point. I'm encouraged by the fact there are still nice echoes showing up between Pittsburgh and Johnstown.

I dunno what ratios will be. When this started the flakes appeared to be almost needles clustered together, icy stuff. Now they look better, bit fluffier.

Coming down at a moderate clip now, can't see the water tower exactly 1/2 mile from my front door. :snowman:

Good a nice rain shower going on right now. :)

isnt that something I am getting some nice light snow 15 miles to your east. Still no update from CTP. They changed their wording on the forecast to late afternoon. In shock that we are not in a warning yet and no discussion from their forecast office regarding the storm. Last update was 5:45am.

The powers thaty be in my office have decided to let eveyone go home early. I'm one of those so-called "essential" employees, so I get to stay, but I'm used to that by now. I'm just glad they made that decision for everyone else's sake. Now let's see how bad things get by the time I leave the office at 6pm.
