pawxworld
DC weenies are now worrying about being dry slotted. That could happen if this actually did move farther north and west.
EasternUSWX
are you in hagerstown or greencastle for the storm? Greencastle. Not much of a difference though like 15 miles.
pawxworld
snow starting to pick up here. As canderson had said it really hasn't stopped snowing all day seems like with little or no radar echos it still wants to snow here. The good stuff to our west is on our doorstep and should be here shortly.

No, just one weenie who apparently is more interested in history than anything else. Phin put him in his place. I just about spit out my tea when i read that. Anywho, the radar is looking great right now for these parts. Time for a 'thumpin'...
Bubbler86
Hershey Bears game has been cancelled for tonight. AlexP
Looks like it has actually stopped for the moment in Camp Hill. Management at my office is going with the "no big deal" approach to the storm. A couple of our employees who live in the Warning area have inquired about leaving early, but as of now the boss is taking a "wait and see" attitude based on the fact that local TV and the NWS have continued to downplay this event. Scummyratguy
i had to grumble since everything else today has been going quite well. I was sort of surprised by the placement on that low by hpc. the prssure falls sort of indicated it might be further west....

Once the main batch of precip gets here you will go to all snow.

canderson
anybody else having drizzle? what the heck!! Where's my cooling!!!? They're having flat-out rain to the east of you in some parts. Lot of the northern Philly burbs have had rain mixed in with their 3-4" already. Don't freak out about that.

hckyplayer8
If your zoom in , http://raleighwx.americanwx.com/models/radar/northeastradar_loop_large.html , you can see that intense frontogenic band is set to tear right up into the lower SRV, with of course me hanging on for dear life. pawxworld
Snowhole... Nice! Look at those yellow returns down south heading north they will hopefully merge with the back building west precip. Another hour or so should be fun here.
Eskimo Joe
The only depressing part about this storm is the lull. If we event had .25 - .5" snowfall rates all day many places would be looking at a nice double digit snowfall.
