Voyager
What -8 looks like on a frigid early morning. I only wish I had one of my DSLR's and didn't have to use my cell phone. It would have turned out much better.
michsnowfreak
Love it when you can actually see the cold in a picture lol.
Voyager
Love it when you can actually see the cold in a picture lol. It actually looked better in person, and like I said, if I would have had my D300 or D40 with me, I could have captured it better. All those chimneys smoking away looked cool against the early morning sky.

All those chimneys smoking away looked cool against the early morning sky. I know that is a sweet look. Being outside in the "booger freezing" air and seeing everything heavily smoking. We only dropped to 2F yesterday morning as what started as a calm clear night quickly became blanketed with clouds (not going to complain, below zero cold is cool, but snow clouds trump that any day). That was at DTW, many of the outlying areas dipped well below zero before the clouds. Took this 1-15-09 at -15 degrees
Juliancolton
I get cold just looking at that picture... brrr. D300 would have picked up amazing detail, but it's still very good for a phone-camera shot.
