OKpowdah
Ah...is the deformation band where the 100% rh is over NY? No, sorry I got pulled away for a few minutes. Deformation refers to a wind field that changes the shape of a fluid through stretching or shearing. It is a feature that contributes to frontogenesis. In the image I posted there is noticeable stretching deformation, aligned from western CT to western MA into western NH. If you know geometry or trig well, think of a family of hyperbola as the streamlines and compare to what you see in the image.

dendrite
Those BUFKIT text outputs are the worst weenie methods, lol. Giving 17" of snow in 4 hours. I have to think its using the omega method for BUFKIT...that usually produces the unrealistic weenie totals. They are epic bad and I cringe when I see them posted.
