moneypitmike
you still do fine 0.75-1.25 depedning on where you are in GC though it was a shift SE....and its a very sharp cutoff About 15-20 miles south of Marlboro, vt.

HIPPYVALLEY
That sounds like a 'wagon's southeast' call. Congrats! No worries Mike, Will's line of 1" of qpf goes: IZG-CON-AFN-PSF that's right through mby and would work out fine for you.
mahk_webstah
No..sped up Yes? But I thought the storm would start Wed afternoon and be going strong by 8pm when I am scheduled to land at Logan. 12z Wed is still i Georgia so I'd think the snow doesn't get going heavy in Bos until midnight and later on Wed eve. Trying to make a tough call on changing my schedule...

Baroclinic Zone
I think it may be..esp for you. Surface temps may get questionable, but I'll fire up the weenie maps to see how they look in lower levels. If I can get a little more frozen, even if sleet, I'll consider it a win-win. I said this the other day, I walking the line with this one, once again.
ORH_wxman
The consensus of all the 12z guidance is pretty amazing outside of the NAM....which has been a disaster thus far in tracking this storm. 60-72 hours, can't ask for too much more. 12z OP runs and all 12z global ensembles....pending Euro ensembles which I expect to not shift much at all as they haven't in the last 2 days

HIPPYVALLEY
I'd be suprised if this didn't charge nw in the final 24 hrs. You'd prolly be alright but a lot of folks out that way don't want to see that. However, it has been the trend this year.

moneypitmike
Mikey no worries, the circ is huge, those 850 winds slam into the Berks and your ratios should be awesome. Thanks, Steve. I'm bothered more by the trend than the actual depiction. Ray just said something about a last minute push NW, but I'm not sure what his reason for that (alhtough recent history has been good). Organizing Low
About 15-20 miles south of Marlboro, vt. your basically straddling the 1 inch line you are in good shape, no mix worries. though i suppose if it shifts further SE then you could be in trouble cause the cuttof is sharp as a tack. still, my money is on this shifting a touch back NW as per usual. weathafella
That's a ton of qpf mostly snow in a short period of time. If my eyes are right I'm at close to 1.5. So Euro holds serve but trends JUST a tad colder. CMC/GFS/UKMET/ECMWF are signifiant snow events with some sleet for most. I like we're we sit after the 12Z suite. Ready for Daddy (and not the way you are thinking) Hey I have a raised ranch and well the roof is an issue, could not get up there but the pitch is fine so should be OK. What a winter, Boston will be ahead of 95/96 probably after this. Hard to believe our region, yes at least all of us have had 1, is looking at another HECS KU type storm, number 3 in a month.
