You know it's been boring when you get excited about a heavy snow band with a 1-2" clipper.:arrowhead:

I'm right on the northern edge of a stationary moderate/heavy band of snow.

It's snowing fairly good here, but I can only imagine how good it's snowing just a mile or two to my south. Hopefully it can budge northward just a tad.

Where are you in Mich?

Looked like most of the good snows were along 696 but a band developed right along 59 here in Shelby. Maybe an inch and coming down good. Also good to see Nam and gfs with. 25+ with second clipper.

Yes Sir... fingers are crossed to get Sat Morning suprise

Best totals have stayed along or north of the WI/IL border.

LIGHT SNOW CONTINUES TO MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF

OF THE CWA THIS AFTERNOON. EXPECT THIS LIGHT SNOW TO LINGER INTO

THE EVENING HRS ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHEAST CWA. ACCUMULATIONS HAVE

GENERALLY BEEN IN THE 1 TO 1.5 INCH RANGE ACROSS MUCH OF THE

AREA...WITH A STRIP OF 2 INCHES ALONG THE I-80 CORRIDOR.

Off to a good start! Clipper #1 is an overachiever here! As of 730 had 2.1" imby and still snowing nicely, whereas there was 1.5" at DTW. Over 16" on the month now and a solid 6" on the ground. Beautiful glittery snow too, Will wait to shovel til it ends in a few hours, then barely a 24-hour break before the next one! Really has been a great winter here for people like me who are into frequent snow and constant snowcover.

I figured the 18z NAM was just a blip.

The 00z NAM is coming in much drier. Hopefully it's not as dry as the 12z run.

Not for the north side of town. Just around 0.5" here

lol.

Well the GFS & NAM are in lockstep agreement when it comes to QPF values.

The question now is does the very narrow band set up like the NAM shows or like the GFS shows.

If banding sets up as the low sort of pivots before moving eastward, before the low starts to weaken, I can some areas picking up 5-6 inches. Looks like a 2-4 atleast hopefully
