dmc76
We probably have had hundreds of clippers and the only memorable one we have was 7 years ago. Without clippers we would average 20-24 inches of Snow a year...

dmc76
Thats fine with me. I dont excited for 2-4 inch snowfalls anymore. I gotta tell you better get used to it. This is how winters was in the 80's and 90's (except 99'). This is NOT even a bad winter its right on target for average snowfall year. You have to think that 07/08 08/09 was aberration because it was were almost 100 inches above normal those 2 years combined.
Powerball
We probably have had hundreds of clippers and the only memorable one we have was 7 years ago. How far north in Macomb County do you live? I thought areas in the northern half of the county did well with the New Years Eve storm. Other than that, like you said the southern parts of the metro area (thus the ENTIRE area) hasn't had a clipper to write home about since 2005 (which technically wasn't a clipper). I am in macomb township, central macomb county. I got 7 inches with it as banding setup to my NW, which usually happens.
roardog
Are you guys going to complain all Spring when t-storms are hitting Indiana and Ohio, even though the main t-storm season in Michigan is really June through August?

Jim Martin
It is looking like the heaviest of the snow from the first clipper will be falling across much of Indiana and Ohio.

A-L-E-K
With our luck this will dry up as it heads towards us!!! Nah, conditions are pretty favorable to sustain it for the short term, amounts will be held to an inch or so because of terrible duration.
Stevo6899
Gfs continues the weakening of the second wave. Was looking respectable with possible 5 inch amounts. Tough luck

A-L-E-K
looks like I’ll get screw holed on this one as yet another clipper tracks southwest of guidance, great returns of the QC area. Good news for the next clipper maybe

turtlehurricane
I didn't see one flake from the event, slept through the whole thing. Definitely an over-performer, got 0.17" liquid, so probably a little over 2" of snow. Looks like almost a 3" snowfall based on how thick the new layer of snow is outside. Next clipper is tomorrow

BowMeHunter
Euro tickles me with the .10 green. Maybe we can get a late tick south to get here and chi into 1-2"
dmc76
I say 1-2" of snow from both clippers. (Together). Your totals might actually hold up
Powerball
I'm right on the northern edge of a stationary moderate/heavy band of snow. It's snowing fairly good here, but I can only imagine how good it's snowing just a mile or two to my south. Hopefully it can budge northward just a tad.
