Rain just suddenly stopped, we're probably entering the subsidence side of the frontogenetic circulation, and the transition is quite sharp. 41.3 °F, literally only 5 more degrees and the boundary layer should be cool enough for frozen precip, just need the sun to kickstart convection in the cold pool.

We got a few flurries this morning(first of the season) and then a very light snow shower this afternoon. The most significant thing I noticed this afternoon is the ground is now frozen. The QC nws has been saying in their recent discos that the ground was too warm for any snow accumuation, but that wasn't the case at all. The few flurries that did fall stuck and blew around a bit.
