Hoosier
Same here. Forecast was for 53º, but only made it to 46º (or possibly 47º). Scorcher coming up Sun and Mon...KIND forecasting 61º and 66º respectively here. Lock it in for at least 70º for LAF on Mon. lol, yeah, it's gonna get warm. All things considered, I think we'll probably end the month on the plus side. The burden is on the cold shot and since we're only going to be adding to the positive departure in the coming days, I don't think it will be enough to be overcome. So that'll make, what, 8 months in a row with a + departure? Hopefully things turn around quickly...soon.

Good call. I'm thinking about going out Monday and playing a final 18 holes. Of course I told myself that two weeks ago.

Northern_IN_Wx
Around 50 for a high today here. Looks like boring stretch of weather to continue through at least the middle of next week IMBY. Then a cold front, followed by some lake effect snow showers late next week. At least it shows that winter is on its way. If I was living in the Upper Midwest or Northern Great Lakes I would be excited about a synoptic snow around the middle of next week....

JoMo
Both the Euro and GFS warm it up faster after Thanksgiving. Euro digs another system into the west by 216 and pushes it out 240 with what looks like a big storm in eastern MO? GFS shows nothing, heh

JoMo
Hmm strange, from the crappy graphics on the Euro site, the 240 looks stronger, must just be at 850.

JoMo
Lock it in! This will prolly be up in the Lakes next run or not existing at all. It's something to watch, and not warm and sunny weather though. I bet the Northeast sections of the forums are buzzing about the 2 storms in the long range, heh

cyclone77
Pretty blustery out there today. Mid 40s with a raw east wind. Since we're not going to receive any snow at all, I'm hopeful we'll get some active low-topped action tomorrow night, and especially late Monday. Going to be a hell of a lot warmer and more humid tomorrow and Mon. Temps near 60 tomorrow, and maybe 65 Mon.

Chicago WX
Looked mighty creepy at about 4 AM. I bet. It was pretty thick at 7AM when I woke up this morning. Looks like a good chance of rain/t'storms here late Monday night-early Tuesday. Snow be a distant memory right now...bring on a little drought relief. Hoosier
00z GFS doesn't look that "bad." Would probably be seasonal to a bit below average but no real warmth after Thanksgiving.

Powerball
Anyone see the latest AO forecast? On our way to - 5 standard deviations! *time sensitive* That's only going to further supress any active weather OTS. Oh well, it's only November (must keep telling myself that). cyclone77
Gonna feel like April around here and points east today and especially tomorrow. Latest NAM shoves a nice thermal ridge north into our area tomorrow, pushing temps to near 70. Dews look to be pushing 60 as well. Gonna have to make sure to enjoy it, as temps the rest of the week will be easily the coldest of the season. Hope we can get a couple storms out of it as well, but the best chance looks east of here. BowMeHunter
I think, HM on the general board has been saying for a long times that he likes Dec for MA snow chances and then could turn unfavorable.. That sounds good for our southern friends, and OV, too. Works for me.. Freeze the lakes up solid and then let it snow from Christmas eve on. Chicago WX
Through the 20th of this month at LAF: 10 days below normal 2 days at normal 8 days above normal +1.8º for the month 0.24" total precipitation (-1.84" to date) The torches have been extra torchy. Should be adding some big + days starting today through T-Day at least... Hoping for some good amounts of rainfall this week.
