BowMeHunter
Great and much appreciated work as usual, man.. I can't remember a good snow storm on thanksgiving in MKE and your stats back it up.. This upcoming storm just didn't feel right for snow here.. I'm used to leaving up north on wed before thanksgiving and returning to bare ground while up north gets hit.. Lake Michigan, climo, luck of track just says its tough to get a big turkey day storm here. Christmas is another day around here that's been hard to get snow.. I can't remember many Christmas days in the last 20 yrs where my dad has been to be at work plowing or treating surfaces at the airport instead of at home.. michsnowfreak
Love all these climo pages you put together Chicagowx! Thanks for spending the time to do so! For as great as DTX's climo page is, the one thing it is lacking is holiday stats. (temp/precip records began in 1870, snow in 1880). Detroit Highest Max Temp: 65º on Nov 26, 1896 Lowest Max Temp: 18º on Nov 27, 1930 Highest Min Temp: 55º on Nov 26, 1896 Lowest Min Temp: 9º on Nov 27, 1930 Most Precipitation: 1.52" on Nov 28, 1968 Most Snowfall: 4.6" on Nov 27, 1975
