SACRUS
I know its terrible out, but if we get some snow from now until Christmas, it'll be a memory. I think we'll at least be tracking some squalls and robust snow showers on Tuesday for some of the area. I kind of like the odds of this lingering cold just a matter of time before we have a legit storm threat. Queue in Bing Crosby I'm dreaming of a......... GFS didnt do much with the (12/22 - 12/24) threat.
Stormlover74
It seems as though we are getting a break for the time being. It looks like it go at least until mid afternoon or longer, but with pop up showers its hard to say.

At this point in time, we shouldnt care much about the OP GFS. If it showed a storm right now, it would probably morph into a rainstorm later on anyway lol. I'm somewhat surprised that there was no wind advisory issued. Some of the gusts here associated with the convective cells seem to meet the criteria. They should have issued it for areas further W but instead put out an SWS regarding the winds associated with heavier rainfall.
