A-L-E-K
12z GGEM has a 1004 mb low over Evansville at 168 hours. Sounds good for the LAF to OH peeps. I'll personally pass and hope for a trend towards something a little deeper. EDIT: looks stronger than 1004 would imply. nice hit.
snowstormcanuck
hmm...now what storm does the 12z GGEM remind me of? addendum: At least at the surface. More different aloft.

Chicago WX
12z GGEM has a 1004 mb low over Evansville at 168 hours. That's cutting it close. Verbatim, for kicks, it's a pretty good hit for STL, central and northern IL, northern IN and then up to MI. Matter of fact, STL really gets hammered...6-10" easily. snowstormcanuck
'99? still dont get it. I'm not going to jinx this storm by actually referring to it by name, but it wasn't a big deal iyby likely. Probably more of a sleet storm.
Stebo
LOL that would be the system, obviously its just similar and not the same. So no jinx implied

Euro has been close, although it's more of a overrunning deal and then a surface low pops, albeit farther southeast that nails E IN/OH/ON.

Face the jinx gods head on and let the chips fall where they may. Or you can all blame me if this thing falls apart. I can handle it.

Tony
Last great storm here in Chitown. My son was born on the 3rd and I remember it quite well. Over 20" I believe and a major shot of cold afterwards.

Which is a little more believable based on what we’ve seen so far this year. Hopefully the 12z Euro holds serve and doesn’t squash this thing like a bug into the gulf. As for the GGEM it doesn't cut that 1004 NE into Michigan does it?

Harry
You guys mentioning 99 = Considering the lacking cold i don't think anyone would want such a track. Not like there is a big dump in the lower 48 like there was prior to that either if i recall correctly.
