I believe NCEP is in Maryland--so it very well may be due to all the power outages associated with the EC thundersnowbomb. They could be having dissemination issues right now as a result--and top priority customers get the data first.

yeah I believe at least 300,000 are without power in that area, maybe more.

Well, at least is something. I'll take that at this point.

It is closer but because of how slow it moves everything out of the sw it misses the phase and thus forced to take the southern route. Positive is it did go slightly more towards the euro/nam camp and nor did we see a hard cutter.

It's pretty close though lol. At HR 174 it has a sub 1004 low about 300-400 miles east of PHI. PHI is still getting into the LT-MOD precip from this.

4 storms up there now this winter. NYC was in the zone first time second time western mass third time was a mediocre 4-8 and this one looks like philly to just south of boston. If I see one more storm up there I will quit tracking weather and move to california.
