H2Otown_WX
Yeah I said "screw it" to the Seattle trip. Too expensive. And if this storm comes to fruition, I'll be especially happy I did
earthlight
Well glad to here she is doing better, and good man--glad to hear you stayed back too. There are many more conferences to attend. Thanks bud, and yeah that was my mentality from the get-go. I really was stoked to go, but there's plenty more. baroclinic_instability
The NAM is way too elongated and positive tilt. This may completely cut off from the flow and stall and precipitate out if this continues.

tombo82685
at this rate, the northern stream shortwave diving down in south canada may link up with it lol
earthlight
Dramatically slower and further southwest than the 00z run
baroclinic_instability
I wouldn't even bother with this run. NAM is doing some weird stuff here. This is likely going to eventually cut off once the heights bomb--but then it will sit there are precipitate out with height rises and weakening as it sits there and spins down south. tombo82685
why do i punish myself and stay up for the 6z nam..when i know its going to be garbage because sometimes the garbage is favorable to our eyes.
dbc
why do i punish myself and stay up for the 6z nam..when i know its going to be garbage Big deal, it's the weekend, there's the coldest arctic air outside we've had this winter and football championships later today. Nothing worth getting up and doing anyway. You could sleep to 2pm and then just scan the 12z's and then watch some football while taking a quick glance at 18z runs.
