RIC Airport
Wish me luck with my storm out here tonight/tomorrow! Latest guidance has the storm hitting more to your south around ORD? If you look at the recent NWSFO MKX AFD, looks like they are discussing dropping the WWA. j/k...good luck!
Billabong
We had a rare snow day at ODU. When I was going there, we were always the last to close and often just had delays while everyone else were closed. I was living off Ferrell Parkway at the time and also worked part-time in the electronics section of the super-Walmart at Princess Anne and Lynnhaven Rds. ha! I go there all the time when i'm in VB, although it has turned into a dump hole the past few years and is beyond crowded. Small world. Didn't mean to veer off topic... back to the snow now. weathervswife
Even the NAM came a LITTLE further north with the precip at 12z. I only need like 20 miles per GFS to make it worth my time.
RIC Airport
So, IOW places from FVX, DAN and west are the favored areas? NAM seems to suggest the MTNs will take a toll on the moisture.

Martin
Snow Number remains at a 3. Snow Number moves up to a 5 for North CarolinaThe storm looks like it will develop just too far south to really mess with the Hampton Roads area. The low will form far enough southeast of Hatteras to keep the prec. light and sporadicSaturday night. Flurries are likely...possibly a period of light snow..most likely too light to accumulate. Further south in North Carolina...a dusting to an inch is possible...mainly near and south of the sound. Will send out a special update tomorrow after the new models come in around noon. Lol, I did just now. Seems as if your weenie ways have rubbed off on her! You should explain to her in layman terms what I meant and of course she's always welcome to register here if she has a love for snow.
