SeVa
The way I see it right now. Hampton Roads could cash in on an inch or two, but if this thing keeps trending west we are going to have another one of our little sleet storms or even plain rain, lol. The jackpot zone in VA might just be a 10-15mile strip running through Surry and Gloucester. This is what my gut tells me, and my gut has told me a lot of good things in the past, lol

Coach McGuirk
18Z NAM is 2-3" between Richmond and Hampton Roads... I'm thinking 1-2 inches tops with this system.
Billabong
I'm thinking 1-2 inches tops with this system. I'd have to agree. The 18z NAM is awesome for PHF though. 0.49" qpf, all of which is pretty much all snow. But surface temps hover around 32/33°F.

MidlothianWX
Mid-week clipper threat still not looking much better. The mountains eat up all the moisture. In other news, the models seem to be pretty insistent on a Christmas day threat.

Coach McGuirk
I think there's a decent chance that someone around Williamsburg sees 2-3 inches. This has a poor man's 12/26/04 feel.
Coach McGuirk
How can Wakefield say that no accumulation is expected when they post snow maps with accumulating snow on those specific areas? I mean, it's not much but it's their snow map. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE NORTHWARD OFF THE COAST SATURDAYNIGHT AND SUNDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING A CHANCE OF LIGHT RAINAND SNOW TO THE OUTLOOK AREA OVER THE WEEKEND. NO SNOWACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...THETIDEWATER OF VIRGINIA...THE PENINSULA...ONTO THE EASTERN SHORE.PLAIN RAIN IS EXPECTED ALONG THE NORTH CAROLINA COAST AND THENORTHERN OUTER BANKS. A SMALL ACCUMULATION OF SNOW IS POSSIBLEACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL VIRGINIA SATURDAY NIGHT...SOUTH AND EAST OFTHE TRI-CITIES.
Coach McGuirk
Wakefield must have got my memo. 1-2 inches of snow expected for me now: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=37.136234984428945&lon=-76.42364501953125&site=akq&smap=1&unit=0&lg=en&FcstType=text
