weathervswife
3" out this way today. We got out of work at 2:00, but by that time the heavy stuff was gone. I pretty much missed the whole thing working at my desk. We got some good sledding in at home, and it never changed over so who's complaining? FatherFrost
A little under 3" of snow before the changeover. I really hate warm-noses...But it was still nice before the rain. So far our total snowfall this met winter is up to 4.30" of snow. Almost at 50% of average. Hopefully the weekend storm will turn into a December 26th, 2004 repeat. WhiteKEAN2004
Fun little event today. Got about 1.5-2 here on the east side of Chester. Obviously the breadth and duration of that band was a bit shorter than I was thinking...but that thundersnow report I read earlier at least gives some solace that there was at least some of that convection we were keying on. Anyway, pretty nice little event for a WAA snow. I'll gladly take my 2" snow and run. Now we can safely move onto the weekend. Going to be interesting to see the 00z suite and how it handles this system. A bit of model continuity sure would be nice!

Coach McGuirk
Yeah we do. Coach, when can we expect a map? I'll throw something together after the 00z GFS. I'm much less confident about this system. It could be nothing or it could be 12/26/2004.
