SeanVA
Looks like about an inch and a half on the ground. Snow changed into a grainy sleet/snow mix. Dust now. DaculaWeather
Here are some different radar views for you: Mid Atlantic 11 radar sites Upper Atlantic 10 radar sites. You can drag the maps around for a better view, zoom, and change map type. I think I would use 25% opacity today but your choice!
Patreeot
28 and freezing rain. about 2.5 inches prior to sleet. I got home from work just in time to see that. Immediately left to pick up my wife at work downtown. Sleet on Powhite all the way to Chippenham, then sleet/snow and that continued on Forest Hill to Powhite. Back to snow on the downtown Expressway, only to hit sleet again at 2nd St. Sleet all the way back to the river, then rain. it's good that the Euro is looking good again, and at least that d6-7 threat is within 10 days LOL

SeanVA
I feel like I'm posting way too much. Back to light snow here, with a little sleet mixed in.
Coach McGuirk
I have a widespread 1-3. I'm sure some western sections will get more than 3. Winner?
D-Money
Winner? Most definitely. Excellent first guess.
Coach McGuirk
Most definitely. Excellent first guess. I'm looking at the soundings and it's just impossible to see 3-5 inches of snow when you're 2-3 C above freezing at 850 about half way in.
Midlo Snow Maker
I feel like I'm posting way too much. Back to light snow here, with a little sleet mixed in. nonsense good to know where the change over is

snowmiser
Good stuff, snowmiser. thanks, Coach. How are you all doing down there? Sorry for my cruddy ruler... didn't want to break out the yellow, aluminum one that the wife gave me for Christmas last year (she hates my snow obsession, but she's a good sport), and risk a jinx. It's 31/ZR I'm sure tonight will be a disaster as I'm expecting a low of 23. I was hoping for 3-4 but I knew the warm air would really limit snowfall totals. snowmiser
Great guess BTW, ours has slowed down drastically. Think I'll stay in, and drink tonight. It's gonna be rough out there.
