rainstorm
interesting tonight. the wind is still strong from the wnw. my guess is that will allow it to be colder and snowier tomorrow.

Billabong
NEW GFS is even more juicy...BILLLABONG, have any readings? Sorry, im working on an exam that I have to submit by 7:30. It's literally killing me. Im waiting for the bufkit files to be completed, but I took a quick look. All frozen until Hour 27 (21Z) where we would switch to sleet and/or freezing rain, but there is not too much left by then. Up to 1/2 foot for Hampton Roads (5"-6")..... rainstorm
what are your thoughts on the angle of the cold? wnw flow means alot in this case. the fact its still strong tonight tells me we may yet see a slight se adjustment in the heaviest precip. Martin
Local TV Snow Total Summary
SeVa
I think at this point it is safe to assume all of us in Hampton Roads will see at least at an inch. So in my mind this event can only be better than Monday's surprise. I think that the difference between an inch and 3 or 4 will come down to when the sleet starts eating into the totals... Just look at the map Billabong posted. It is all I care about now haha. I don't think the sleet will kill totals too much as there will be limited moisture by that time
