weathervswife
Down to 28 now with sleet beating in the windows. Very loud. Edit: went outside and mainly zr now. When the heavy stuff comes through we switch to ip. Maybe .10" on most surfaces. Edit: my asphalt driveway is a sheet of ice, but nothing on the roads in front of my house, but they put that slime down on the roads abusing my neighborhood dues. SeanVA
Icicles hanging off powerlines here and trees are shiny. I'd say about a .10, but haven't measured.
Patreeot
I agree. I was up in the West End (Dumbarton/ Staples Mill) and noticed the trees didn't look wet. Trees starting to block right hand south bound lane on Powhite. I haven't measured the ice, but my Loropetalum on the front of my house are acting like they got 4 inches of snow on them. IOW, they are hanging down to about 4 feet when they are usually about 7 feet. Roads are fine and the bridges are fine, but the shady spots on the side roads did seem slightly slick. Usually, we are the first ones to go. Anyway, there is still some ice accumulation on the trees here, with light precipitation.
