Basically, since our criteria is 4"...I went ahead with the upgrade for Chesapeake mainly for the west side of the city.

I figured that but leaving out the last 3 cities just looks ridiculous haha. I bet you have a long day ahead of you. Thanks for your work!

Looks like the latest RUC trended colder, at least initially for the event.

On another note, I still can't access this site from my Verizon fios connection. Only via my cell. Weird.

Try changing your DNS settings

On my computer or router?

I had to add americanwx.com to the host file. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc open the file called "host" in notepad. Then add this 74.63.227.50 www.americanwx.com #web server

also, just saw wheeler. He is really liking the rain for later today. Wants to lower totals for NE NC and southside.

the longer the snow takes to get here the greater the chance of rain as things warm up. i was hoping it would be snowing by 7am.

Not sure what trend he sees. Everything appears on track. Tried making the mod still not working. Do I need to reboot?

He was looking at current obs west of here.

If you have never added anything to your host file, delete all that junk that's in there then add 74.63.227.50 (hit tab) www.americanwx.com (hit tab) #web server

You want spaces between them.

well, the 48 degrees at 7AM in N central TN should be a tip off

plus, look at the pressure and pressure falls

surface low really wants to drive into ne KY, if not WVA, which is well NW of your location

what im worried about is we have lots of time now for warming before precip even gets here.

The warming comes with the precip- unless you see bands to your N and NE that missed you, its going to snow because its overrunning.
