My favorite for cold combined with snow is February 9-19th,1979.

15 days during FEB 1979 at Philly, probably the best 2 wk snow / cold combo on record, some very fond memories of that period

Thanks for posting that table.JFK had 6 record lows during that period.

For Reading, PA this 2003 was the best stretch fro combined cold and snow, I'm 28 I'm sure there were better before I was born but this is the best I can find for my location

FEB 5th-19th 2003

- 8 from normal for the15 day period, 32.8" total inches, 26.9" coming from PDII (2nd biggest storm in Reading, PA history, (behind only Blizzard of 96' 30")

'96 had 37" in Reading, PA, or at least the PNS reports showed it. Ray (FAmartin) can confirm that or if I am wrong).
