  1. Need some higher rates to overcome that ex. NW corner AL under better returns reporting snow..while several reports in Mid TN under the week returns are freezing drizzle
  2. HRRR and RAP both redevelop precip over plateau and valley. They both show as snow, problem is the sounding is bone dry in the DGZ, so would actually fall as freezing rain/drizzle (0.2-0.3) QPF....definitely not what we need on top of the snow covered roads.
  3. HRRR shows it getting to LaFollete, not sure if it gets that far. Whoever is just on north side of where it stalls is in for a good round of feathers if the moisture doesn't shut off first.
  4. Hrrr/NAM nailed WAA...missed on downslope tho, which I need now lol. Snow over, need to get back above freezing or going to have a freezing rain problem.
  5. If there is any moisture left on back side. Low riding up the state line.
  6. It just crossed over me..instantly sleet and freezing rain...temp didn't go up tho. 27.9
  7. Yep, soon as it crosses it flips. Goose feathers right before the change. Coker creek went up 11° and rain soon as it crossed.
  8. Gadsden EMA south of Chatt reporting .10" ice build up on power lines already from switching to freezing rain
  9. Temps still dropping slowly here, and the flakes aer wet. Instantly turning to ice when they hit the asphalt
  10. From my sister, car in front of her did a 360 and hit the ditch. Hwy 68 just outside Tellico. Roads are becoming almost impassable, wrecks everywhere.
  11. Obs vs 0z HRRR currently 0z: 37 Actual: 26 Snow Acc: 0 Actual: 1"
  12. Well that escalated quickly...light to mod snow here. Roof already turned white.
  13. RAP may be smoking something but it's ramping up totals here in the East this afternoon...keying in on the backside.
  14. Flurries between Tellico and Madisonville...still nothing in Tellico
  15. Been watching that CC line...slowed some. Hope you guys finally pull one out....not so confident for mby, living on the edge of the downslope.
