    Looks like artic front just north of Toronto buy about 40 miles. See how it interacts with band and lake. I do see a explosion of streamers forming over georgian Bay and lake Huron after front passed.

    Last I saw lake ontario was 43 in middle of lake. In January thats warm. With this type of airmass dry air may not matter as much.

    Only thing I can think of is they are counting on what wrfs are showing. Alot of models won't pick up on the snow cause its so shallow in atmosphere after front goes thru.

    Rgem may be a to far north. Band will lift north for a time tomorrow but its farthest north of any other model.

    You almost in the worst area of Southern Ontario for lake snow. Its good you can get some bonus snow with a North East wind. You ever get any erie action. Suspect that's rare would have to be a ssw wind

    Nope. Wish we did. Wish we had some posters from hamilton area for those easterly lake events
