For one it's a watch to at least put people on guard. The potential it there for 7 inches of snow plus significant sleet freezing rain.

I don't see a issue at all with squalls reaching roc area. Look at Michigan. Squalls off of lake Michigan reaching Saginaw valley and lake Huron.
