Gfs. Is a mess of a storm. That model can be horrible.

For example it gives rochester 1.75 precip but only 5 inches of snow. I am not seeing a inch and a quarter mix of precip. Looking at maps its maybe .75 at most. So the 1 inch of liquid equivalent it's only showing 5 inches at kroc

Even whher there is no mix in wayne county it gives 2 inches of precip but only a foot of snow. So it's not that.

Icon gives 1.5 to 2.5 inches so icon has snow ratios like 5 to 1. It is always like this. So not sure what algorithms it uses

Hammers eastern monroe to syracuse. Not sure what's up with icons ratios. They are really low for precip put down.

I did see somewhere chances in western ny for 6 inches or more have doubled in fingerlakes region from like 20 30 percent to 40 to 60 percent on euro
