Some times on radar band is over you cause that's where precip is at cloud base but wind can offset that and literally blow over you.

Some one else check out the sat pic. I think I am seeing a meso low forming north of rochester where gb band is entering lake ontario.

Gb band coming into lake ontario now. Almost complete connection.

I could see it happen. Models are struggling hard core with the high pressure.

So buffalo got a trace of precip today and .9 inches and roc got.01 and 1.1 inches. So what's that 100 to 1 ratio. Lol
