  1. Yep, they've updated their maps. Wouldn't be shocked to see one more bump up closer to I95 later, but looks alright.
  2. Caveat of "it's the HDRPS" aside, this run seems reasonable. Even starts the metro off as rain for realism's sake.
  3. Yeah, it’s showing some flurries/snow showers on Wednesday.
  4. Me considering a road-trip when Charlottesville gets 5" on the EURO while Arlington only gets 2"...
  5. Consider this an open question too all because it’s something I’ve been wondering: are we (we being Beltway-East) worried about rain or a mix at all? I realize surface temps are iffy, but should it be all snow in theory?
  6. When it’s this nice out I honestly don’t even care if it snows.
  7. Don't think we've had to bust these maps out all year! Here is the UKMET, for those who care. Surface temps don't cooperate anywhere outside the BR but 850s are solid.
  8. Not to overload the page with maps, but the 12z is a pretty solid improvement over 6z, IMO. 12z: 6z: same with the 3k. Both made positive steps.
  9. Crazy runs of the Canadian aside, I feel like things are genuinely looking up with this storm. 18z EURO improved and upped the ante on precip and snow, NAMs took serious steps when they wanted to kill the mood earlier... Not entirely sure what the consequences of another bump N would be temperature wise, but I think there is genuinely a shot at a widespread 1-2" if it shifts a little more north. That said, my bar is flakes.
  10. 3k decided that the storm exists again. It seems to be a run behind the 12k on this one... now the 3k says congrats to Salisbury.
  11. Works for now. Certainly a step in the right direction for many.
  12. It is. Quicker and the heaviest stuff is going to be shifted north by a fair bit.
  13. Could be the only 3” I see this season. [emoji14] More than likely I wouldn’t actually go, especially if we get an inch here. But it’s tempting. I rent a house down there so it wouldn’t be like sitting in a dorm. Could be nice. Besides, me going to Charlottesville means it would snow more up north. It would benefit everyone!
  14. Solid improvement over 12z. Still might have to make the trip to CHO. It's a quick storm so verbatim it kinda rips there.
  15. 18z EURO is looking solid. Snow everywhere at 51. 18z RGEM was also a nice run... but its the RGEM at range.
  16. As a Giants fan I instinctually dislike the Eagles but as a fan of the game I have a lot of respect for them, especially with their resistance this season. The fact that they are even in contention speaks to the all-around effort from their team (and their practice squad). Wentz is a super underrated QB as well. Got a soft spot for him.
